METHODS AND TOOLS USED

Insights Discovery Full Circle®

Insights Discovery Full Circle is a 360 feedback tool that adds an extra dimension to awareness. Compiled from the feedback of a group of self-selected respondents, the profile gives participants a fresh perspective on their impact on others. Discussing mutual perceptions creates deeper personal growth for the participant and improves the relationship with the respondent. This profile is designed to complement the Insights Discovery Profile, which is based solely on self-perception.

Insights Discovery Transformational Leadership®

The Insights Discovery Transformational Leadership Profile shows how personal preferences can influence leadership style (at self, team and organisational levels). The profile measures behavioural preferences (not competencies) against the 8 ITL dimensions and, through insights into strengths and weaknesses and targeted questions, provides fertile ground for self-reflection and leadership dialogue.

Peer coaching (Kessels & Smit Method)

This approach is a catalyst for open, honest and vulnerable conversations in which participants share cases, learn to look at themselves critically and inspire each other to find their own solutions. Kessels & Smit has a number of effective interventions such as the incidents method, gossiping, the 5 questions and learning from successes. These interventions structure the conversation and help the participants to grow and influence the organisational culture and way of working.

Coaching (Values in Action Profile)

The VIA Character Strengths Survey is a self-assessment based on Martin Seligman's positive psychology ideas. The report provides a wealth of information for understanding a person's strengths and values. The VIA report provides a personalised, in-depth analysis of the results, including actionable tips on how to apply the strengths and regain the right balance.

Coaching (Bateson's logical levels)

Bateson's Logical Levels, or The Logical Levels of Thinking, Learning and Change, suggests that there are 6 logical levels at which people think, learn, change and function. A person's level largely determines their capacity for change and their potential for development. In particular, understanding and talking about limiting beliefs can help a person move to the next level and take a step forward in their development.
