One page strategic plan (OPSP)

An international high-tech scaleup in the autonomous charging sector, lived by day-to-day operations. It is highly successful, attracting new investors and growing rapidly. It is expanding across national borders and developing new products and services.

The result of this heady growth was that all customer requirements had to be met, resulting in expensive and time-consuming bespoke solutions. There was little time to 'work on the company’ and really select a core customer, for example. Feeling reactive when you should be in the driver's seat

In this growth phase, there was a need for more structure and a view of the bigger picture. To develop the inspiring vision the owners started with into concrete initiatives and to make the right decisions for customers, processes, people, services and products. Doing the right things right out of intrinsic motivation and passion.

The approach

Over a period of six months, WireWork guided the leadership team in developing a compelling strategy using the Scale Up Impact method (Verne Harnish) to create an OPSP. This set out the values, purpose, brand promise, strategic priorities and BHAG in a clear and concise way.

The result

A process that took direction and shape through patience, creative thinking, open dialogue and mutual trust. The insights and concrete actions helped the leadership team set a clear direction and communicate it clearly to colleagues, stakeholders and customers. In addition, this intensive collaboration further strengthened relationships and helped take the team to the next stage of development.
